Sharon Bessell

Sharon Bessell is Professor at the Crawford School of Public Policy, ANU and Director of the Children’s Policy Centre. Sharon's research focuses on the gendered and generational nature of poverty. She co-led the Individual Deprivation Measure, a gender sensitive measure of poverty, and now leads More for Children, which aims to understand and respond to children’s experiences of poverty.
