Mehvish Mehboob

Mehvish Mehboob is in her penultimate year of the Bachelor of Philosophy (honours) with an Economics major, researching the intersections of gender, economics, migration and development. She works as a research assistant at the Australian National University’s Tax and Transfer Policy Institute, and as a Policy Adviser at the Australian Trade and Investment Commission. Mehvish is passionate about gender equality and is involved with a number of organisations working to empower women including Girls Run the World, The Persephone Network and Zonta International.
