Mark Bowler-Smith

Mark Bowler‑Smith is Associate Professor of Tax Law at Deakin University. A UK‑qualified barrister with a PhD from the University of Cambridge, his research examines the design and purpose of taxation in an information‑rich economy, with current work on AI and tax policy, corporate income tax, and sustainability. He has published in leading journals, including the Australian Tax Forum and the British Tax Review, and is the author of The Taxing Road to Sustainable Growth (IBFD, 2013).
