Ann Kayis-Kumar

Ann Kayis-Kumar is a Lecturer at the School of Taxation and Business Law at UNSW Australia. Her industry experience spans across both the finance and legal professions, having worked for hedge fund Droga Capital, J.P. Morgan, and Corrs Chambers Westgarth, one of the top corporate law firms in Australia as a banking and finance lawyer in an award-winning deal team. In addition to her BCom(Finance)/LLB(Honours) qualifications, she is currently undertaking a PhD focusing on the taxation of cross-border intercompany financing activities. Her research applies a combination of pure economic theory, optimisation modelling and applied legal research.
