Beyond the budget provides independent projections of key budget outcomes such as debt and the budget balance over the next decade and assesses fiscal sustainability over the next forty years. A longer-term fiscal sustainability assessment has been included from the 2021-22 report. Prior to that, this report was known as the medium-term fiscal projections report.
