The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has released a consultation paper for its draft Vulnerability Framework.

The Framework is developed to support people experiencing vulnerability when they interact with the tax system. It is founded on the commitments made in ATO’s charter and outlines 6 guiding principles, 4 core focus areas, and a clear approach to how ATO engage with the community.

Submissions close on 18 July 2025.
