The 17th Western Economic Association International (WEAI) conference will be held next year on April 12-15 at the University of Melbourne, hosted jointly by the Melbourne Institute, Melbourne Business School, and the Department of Economics.
The conference will involve keynote addresses by Nobel laureate David Card (Berkeley), U.S. CEA Chair Cecilia Rouse (Princeton), and Sir Richard Blundell (UCL). In addition, panel discussions are planned on labour economics, monetary policy, and banks and banking.
Submissions are encouraged in all areas of economics and finance. The deadline for submissions of individual paper abstracts is October 22 and for complete sessions is December 15.
