The National Institute of Public Finance and Policy (NIPFP), New Delhi, India in collaboration with the International Institute of Public Finance (IIPF), Munich, will hold an international conference on “Papers in Public Finance” (online) on June 29 and 30, 2021.

The conference aims to focus on conceptual and empirical research and methodological advancements in public economics, with a special focus this year on fiscal policy in the time of COVID-19 pandemic in Asia. However, the conference is not confined to this topic. Papers are invited from academia and policy practitioners on issues broadly in the area of public economics.

Fifteen to twenty papers will be selected for the two-day conference, arranged in five technical sessions. In addition to these papers, selected papers from young scholars will also be included as two poster sessions in the event.

The deadline for submitting papers is April 15, 2021. Papers can be submitted in soft copy to [email protected], as email attachments, and with three JEL codes as email subject.

The authors of the accepted papers will be intimated by May 15 2021.
