The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has released the 2019-20 edition of Taxation Statistics.
It provides an overview of statistics from tax returns and related schedules for the 2019–20 income year, and covers individuals (including postcode maps), companies, super funds, partnerships, trusts and industry benchmarks.
For this edition, the ATO has also included data for the 3 main phases of the JobKeeper Payment Scheme.
The publication also includes information relating to the 2020–21 financial or fringe benefits tax year, including goods and services tax (GST), excise and fuel schemes and fringe benefits tax (FBT).
