The 2017 Young Writers’ Prize organized by Per Capita is now open to all Australians aged 25 years and under, and is designed to encourage young people to think about the major public policy challenges facing Australia.

Participants are required to submit an essay with 1,200 to 1,400 words in length and answer one of the set essay questions.

All entries must be lodged by 28 April 2017. Winners will have cash prize and their essays will be published.
