The Business Law Section of the Law Council of Australia has opened its 2016 scholarship program for early career lawyers. This year there are three scholarships on offer: the Santow Scholarship for a paper on corporations law, the Gaire Blunt Scholarship for a paper on competition law and the Forsyth/Pose Scholarship for a paper on taxation law.

The Scholarships are open to lawyers, academics, students and professionals with less than four years of practical experience in the subject of the scholarship applied for.

Last year, Joel Emery was awarded a scholarship for his paper on Bitcoin, now also a TTPI working paper.
